This is Robert Louis Stevenson's unforgettable tale of swashbuckling adventure on the high seas. Young Jim Hawkins comes into possession of a treasure map and finds himself and his mates in a dangerous race with a crew of ruthless pirates in search of the treasure. Jim and the ship's crew must brave the elements and a mutinous charge led by the ruthless pirate Long John Silver. Brilliantly conceived and splendidly executed, this novel has captured the imagination of generations of adults and children alike, earning a place as the best and most influential of all pirate stories.

We are offering this Zoom presentation to help families understand how COVID-19 has changed the college admissions landscape and how it will affect Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors.

We’ll discuss how students can engage with colleges virtually to help them develop a preliminary list of colleges to consider visiting when campuses are fully open.  We'll also focus on the greater consideration admissions officers will give to extracurricular activities as they will have fewer data points to rely on due to the disruptions from COVID-19.

This program covers how students can position themselves to develop a compelling narrative to increase their chances for admission. We will also discuss the importance of community service and how it can help a student to stand out
