Great Author, Great Talk…
On Saturday, January 11, local author,
Sally Suen, discussed her book, Crystal Cove,
a story that takes place in China, Hong Kong, and Los Angeles in the 1980s and 90s.
The lively audience was fascinated by the story
which reflects many aspects of the author's early life.
Sally, who was raised in Hong Kong,
always wanted to write a beautiful love story.
The fact that it has become so relevant to our times was serendipitous but certainly added to the discussion of the changes that have taken place in Hong Kong since the 80s.
